Multifunction usb devices

    I have a usb printer/scanner Epson CX5200, which I would like to work
    both as a scanner and as a printer without having to kldload and
    kldunload uscanner and ulpt modules.
    I read a thread (actually, two messages), on this question :

    Does somebody know if the situation has changed, or if somebody is
    working on the problem ?
