State Of Raid 5 in RELENG_6

    Hi All,
        With FreeBSD 6 getting closer, I was curious about what was
    happening with raid 5 support on ata-raid.

    At present, raid 5 arrays are detected and can be used, though looking
    at the code, there is no support for parity. Hence running raid 5 is
    effectively running raid 0.

    If this is likely to be the case when 6 is shipped, there should at
    least be a warning regarding this at boot time.
