Offtopic: what is about to remove TCSH too, or add it to ports collection?
This is an easy. BSD Unix has always used the csh as the default
user shell. Tcsh is simply a csh that carries on the tradition.
What shell would you prefer? ksh? bash? No Thanks.
I prefer /bin/sh on server system for root. Zsh is used as alternative shell.
