I can give you more information if required since I have the kernel core

This is a long-standing bug, and is also the subject of PR kern/89538 and kern/99464. So far, it's been very hard so far to find someone with a core to investigate further. Can you try the suggestion at the end of kern/89538 and submit a followup to the PR with your findings please?
