Yes, I saw that, however it's only peripheral to my actual problem :)
Unfortunately I am stuck with a -current from the 12th of Feb if I want
to use my disks :(
I did have a go at merging but no luck yet, I will try to narrow down
the commit that caused the problem and see if I can back out just that.
Do you have tested my patch?

If it will not work, you can simple add
default:
ch->devices = ATA_ATA_MASTER;
in the ata_ahci_reset function. For the VIA AHCI this works.
