Yes, thanks. Last time I mentioned this, des@xxxxxx also said then it was a well known ATA bug, for which I should look in the archives. However, as I said, it's hard to pinpoint from searching the -current archives, quite which bug he is talking about.
Does anyone have a link to a post which goes into greater detail about this problem?
I'd like to post a PR regarding this, but would like to read these previous posts to get a little more info.

Also if this is a well known (s)ata bug, should it maybe be added to UPDATING or some sort of documentation? Maybe http://www.freebsd.org/releases/7.0R/todo.html ?
