Isn't this what PRs are for?


There are several people working on the issues thus we are using the
wiki to do internal coordination all the announcement was for was to let
people know where to find intermediate results.


That's exactly why mailing lists exist.

The wiki was not meant to replace the list just be a central record
keeping location for the group working on the issue.
