I have no idea but they are the cables that came with the drive.

FWIW, my ICH9 enabled P5K-E Wifi MB has zero problems with FreeBSD
7-CURRENT/8-CURRENT. What flavor of MB do you have?

MSI Neo-F (P35).... all the other reports of these issues have been on
other p35 Mobos (Asus I think)
