backing out of a cvs update

The malloc changes posted last night seem to totally hosed many apps
(they just hang)... how do I back out if the cvs -d /home/ncvs update
I did (keep in mind I did a rm -rf /usr/src /usr/obj and recheck out
to see if that whould clear it and it didn't)
