If you're using ATA RAID, yes.
However I think you are using iir (so says your subject) so I don't
think that applies.
Unfortunately I have 0 iir experience :(
There is no control utility mentioned in the iic(4) man page so I think
you have to do everything with the BIOS.
If it isn't possible to do it in the BIOS then that is a pretty serious
flaw and you are probably SOL :(
Phew... I can rebuild it from the BIOS-ish Intel Matrix Manager.
FWIW the Asus tech I talked to said that he couldn't get RAID5 support
in Linux, so I don't think that OS (software) RAID5 is in existence
anywhere. Then again I could be wrong..
