SENDMAIL_CFLAGS+= -I/usr/local/include -DSASL=2
SENDMAIL_LDFLAGS+= -L/usr/local/lib
SENDMAIL_LDADD+= -lsasl2
in /etc/make.conf "make buildworld" gives:
===> lib/librtld_db (cleandir)
".depend", line 1: Need an operator
".depend", line 3: Need an operator
*skip*
".depend", line 924: Need an operator
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
*** Error code 1
