RELENG_5_3 will be the most up to date for 5.3
RELENG_5 will be the most up to date source for 5 (so, currently,
RELENG_5 will turn into 5.4 or RELENG_5_4)
If you want stability, RELENG_5_3. If you want the latest development
snapshot, RELENG_5.
