#search 192.168.1.1
i know it'commented out, btw: 'search' need a domain name, not an ip address
nameserver 204.127.202.19
nameserver 216.148.227.79
nameserver 68.87.68.162
are you sure these are public dns? are you allowed to use them from
your network?
try:
dig @204.127.202.19 www.freebsd.org
dig @216.148.227.79 www.freebsd.org
dig @68.87.68.162 www.freebsd.org
What are the answers?
