    Hi Roman,

I have read both those links. The thing is I'm not upgrading but migrating
from one system to another and was hoping to avoid having to install 3.23
first to then upgrade to 4.0 and 4.1 respectively.

    Regards,
    Ruben

    Have you read http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/upgrading-from-3-23.html
    and http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/upgrading-from-4-0.html . I've
used these and they helped tremendously upgrading to 4.1.
