    i dont know what to tell u more but my problem does not require a lot of explanations, i have set up ipsec/ipv6 between 2 freebsd machines and it worked(ping6 ,ftp 6etc...) and i was able to monitor the traffic and see the encryption but with a freebsd 4.7 and xp and using manual keys (setkey command) the ping6 just stops between the 2 machines when applying the policies at both ends
    i have also read in a freebsd magazine that using manual keys with an windows machine wont work.i just want to know why?
