    Hi all,

    Few weeks ago I started trying to set up IPv6 on my FreeBSD 5.0-release
    box.
    To do so I registered at Freenet6 for an account.

    The box has been set up according to the description but for some reason it
    doesn't work.

    I cannot seem to ping6 to www.kame.net or other IPv6 enabled sites.

    The outgoing requests are visible with 'tcpdump -i gif0' but no answers are
    coming back.

    My server is using a private space address 10.0.0.1 and is situated behind
    an ADSL NAT router (Alcatel speedtouch pro).
    According to the freenet description NAT should be working being the
    administrator of the NAT which is ofcourse the case.

    I've tried it without any special config on the NAT, I tried a TCP pinhole
    at port 3653, also defserver addr=10.0.0.1 but nothing helps.

    My rc.conf contains the line ipv6_enable="YES"

    Below the output of the TSPC tunnel setup program and the interface config
    afterwards.

    --- Start of configuration script. ---
    Script: freebsd44.sh
    Setting up interface gif0
    Adding default route to 3ffe:0bc0:8000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1ae4
    delete net default: not in table
    add net default: gateway 3ffe:0bc0:8000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1ae4
    --- End of configuration script. ---
    tspc - Tunnel Server Protocol Client

    Loading configuration file

    Connecting to server

    Using [10.0.0.1] as source IPv4 address.
    Send request

    Process response from server

    TSP_HOST_TYPE host
    TSP_TUNNEL_INTERFACE gif0
    TSP_HOME_INTERFACE
    TSP_CLIENT_ADDRESS_IPV4 10.0.0.1
    TSP_CLIENT_ADDRESS_IPV6 3ffe:0bc0:8000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1ae5
    TSP_SERVER_ADDRESS_IPV4 206.123.31.115
    TSP_SERVER_ADDRESS_IPV6 3ffe:0bc0:8000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1ae4
    TSP_TUNNEL_PREFIXLEN 128
    TSP_VERBOSE 1
    TSP_HOME_DIR /usr/local
    Exiting with return code : 0 (0 = no error)

    Then my ifconfig:

    rl0: flags=8843 mtu 1500
     inet 10.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 broadcast 10.255.255.255

     ether 00:50:bf:5d:55:67
     media: Ethernet 100baseTX
     status: active
    dc0: flags=8802 mtu 1500
     ether 00:50:bf:99:27:09
     media: Ethernet autoselect (none)
     status: no carrier
    lp0: flags=8810 mtu 1500
    lo0: flags=8049 mtu 16384
     inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128
     inet6 fe80::1%lo0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4
     inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000
    gif0: flags=8051 mtu 1280
     tunnel inet 10.0.0.1 --> 206.123.31.115
     inet6 3ffe:bc0:8000::1ae5 --> 3ffe:bc0:8000::1ae4 prefixlen 128
     inet6 fe80::250:bfff:fe5d:5567%gif0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x5

    Does anyone know what I can try more? Have I forgotten something?

    Thanks in advance.

    Leonard
