    You may also want to look at CARP from OpenBSD.
    Check http://kerneltrap.org/node/view/1021 for more informations.
    Also, http://pf4freebsd.love2party.net/carp.html is a FreeBSD port of CARP,
    but the DNS entry does not seem to exist any longer
