Hi:
I am very happy to say that I have the commercial word processor TextMaker
running in FreeBSD 4.8. I have it installed in /compat/linux/opt.
TextMaker's website is here:
http://www.softmaker.de/tml_en.htm
It does a good job at reading Microsoft word documents. I have also sent
*docs to windows users and they say the docs render just fine. You can get a
30 day trial version at the bottom of the above web page.
Kind regards,
Jonathan
