    Hello,

I am no expert, but I use PPP exclusively to set
up a connection to the net.

One thing I see different in your configuration
    than in mine is this:

    >set ifaddr 10.0.0.1/0 10.0.0.2/0 255.255.255.0
    > 0.0.0.0

If you are using PPP and you are doing dynamic IP
addressing, I succeed with this, instead:

    set ifaddr 0 0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0

This, of course, would be found in
/etc/ppp/ppp.conf. I suggest getting your hands
on a copy of The Complete FreeBSD. That book has
    saved my life many times.

    Hope this helps a bit.
