how do i set window transparancy in fluxbox?

    i have fluxbox up and running
    but i have two problems with which i cant see a solution :

    1) how do i set fluxbox's famous window transparancy?
    2) is there a way to "create" a "start menu" like in gnome? (other users use this comp)
