amule crush in 4.1

    i have 4.1 stable and am trying to get rid of that awfull xmule !!!
    installation of amule from ports tree go'es well but when i run it i get :
    Initialising aMule
    Config:
    x1: 0 y1: 27 x2: 1024 y2: 693
    split read, found : 340
    srv_split read, found : 0
    Server listening on port 4712.
     Abort (core dumped)

    my system is :
    4.1
    gnome2
    wxgtk2

    what need i do to get it to run?
    this is the closest to reasonable ed2k client
