Thanks for the info about the questions list, a nice dude already let me
know about it.
In reference to the ports system,
I keep getting make errors when trying to use the new port for
mplayer-1.0...
I think that it uses make instead of gmake, because I got the same
errors until I remembered to use gmake. I have gotten it to
compile/install from a gmake build, ports still does not work for me.
The error was evidently due to a miscellaneous directory having been
created in the compile directory for mplayer. I found it and removed
it, and then proceeded with the install from the tared download from
mplayer.org.
