A link to the post where the question is answered would be wonderful. In the
past I've received, and seen, simply "Take your question to the -questions
list" or "Go find the answer on -questions list". Often I won't recognize
the answer to my question because I will think of the question in different
terms than the previous asker.

show a link to where the question is answered or is currently being
discussed on -questions, -stable, -ports, etc.
This would have the additional benefit of weaning the (us) newbies off of
htis list and making them (us) more comfortable with the other resources.
