    FreeBSD 4.10-RELEASE-p5

    CPU: Intel Pentium III (1005.03-MHz 686-class CPU)
    real memory = 335458304 (327596K bytes) (PC100)
    ad0: 57241MB <ST360021A> [116301/16/63] at ata0-master UDMA100

    [13:04:13]paix@sk(~)$ time dd bs=1024 if=/dev/zero of=tstfile count=1048576
    1048576+0 records in
    1048576+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes transferred in 28.167481 secs (38119909 bytes/sec)

    real 0m28.236s
    user 0m0.785s
    sys 0m18.901s
