Tweaks tips for MySQL in FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT SMP

Hello Guys,
I was able to use this command in 6.x
Now when I tried it it doesn't work in 7.0
sysctl kern.threads.max_groups_per_proc=40000
What do you recommend for tweaking MySQL server 5.0.41 with MyISAM db
in Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz server with 2 GB of ram and 10k rpm wcd raptor
HD?
