More importantly: I have this:
local_startup="/usr/local/etc/rc.d /usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d"
in /etc/defaults/rc.conf. Is it in yours? (Not Rick's - Weldon
Godrfrey's.) And if not, why not? (May not have the X11 part if
you haven't installed X.)
