XFree86 issue

    I am having the same problems as http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2004-September/059298.html

    Could you please explain the following steps in detail
    "Generate a new file with XFree86 -configure and diff that file with /etc/X11/XF86Config."

    from which directory do i execute the ./XFree86 and
    what does it mean to diff???
