This is a follow-up to my earlier question on how to create a freebsd
partition on a usbdrive. I followed these instructions:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/formatting-media/x163.ht
ml
And was able to create a 111 gig freebsd partition on the usb hard drive,
with label da0s1d and /mnt/usbdrive as it's mount point. However, when I
try to:
># mount /dev/da0s1d /mnt/usbdrive
I get the error:
># mount: /dev/da0s1d: no such file or directory
In /dev I see an entry for da0s1 and da0s1c but no entry for da0s1d.
Any help in determining what I have missed?
Steve
