    I'm not sure, assume that the two 800 ports won't work at all.

    Again I'm not sure. FreeBSD may already support IEEE 1394b. Post
    another message to the group asking if it does. My experience with
    Firewire is limited at best.... What do you need the Firewire for
    anyways?
