    You have tu use Mode lines in your xorg.conf
    with the xvidtune values

    Modeline "1024x768" 78.80 1024 1056 1152 1312 768 769 772 800 -HSync
    +Vsync

    for the mouse wheel use Options "ZAXisMapping" "4 5"
