Question about ROOT LOGIN

I am sitting here beside my FreeBSD machine and suddenly see this:
login: Nov 21 11:54:27 freebsd login: ROOT LOGIN (root) ON ttyv0
and I don't know why it popped up. Isn't ttyv0 the console? You don't
think someone has hacked into my system do you?
