/etc/passwd related problem; blocked system-account ... I'm currently trying out FreeBSD,... The "operator"-user is allowed to use 'sudo' to do ... The theory is that as 'su' is run as "root",... that specifies locked accounts, or maybe a delay ... (comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc)

Re: Should sudo be used? ... I thought it would be a good idea to use sudo on my FreeBSD laptop,... I don't wish to run as root; sudo is used so I can be "me" and still have pretty buttons that run Ethereal, format a floppy disk, etc.. ... As someone else mentioned, "tools, not policy" is a UNIX axiom. ... (freebsd-questions)
