fbsd 6 didnot work on laptop

Well, i have HP laptop dv5178us model.

i installed freebsd 6.1, after installation is complete, it will ask you to remove any cd and reboot
till here is fine....

after i reboot, it hangs!!
nothing happens! nothing moves!! just blank black dead screen!!
I installed fbsd again, and the same...infact after the installation is complete and you remove the cd to restart it wont restart even you have to shutoff the laptop and on again..

Anyone can Advice please?
