Upgrade from RELENG_4 to RELENG_5

I have done:
cvsup RELENG_5

make buildkernel
make installkernel

All worked just fine ... but. When I reboot, the boot process
picks up the old 4 kernel. How do I make the boot process
pick up the new 5 kernel? What am I missing?
