Hello,
I've got a 6.2 box with a dvd writer in it. I want to back up some dvds
to iso files so i can recreate the dvds at a later time should it be needed.
I can use dvdbackup to backup in to a directory structure, but i'd rather
not mount, create the directory, and iso, i'd rather make the iso directly
from the dvd. Any pointers on this?

OT : K9Copy Problems ... I am trying to reduce the size of a DVD ISO image I created so that it ... I figured out how to actually mount the original ISO,... and the ISO plays normally when I click the DVD ... With the output device set to ISO Image,... (Debian-User)
Re: DVD Authoring tools ... I authored a dvd using dvdstyler.... and it had no sound.... command on the iso, it reported the image having mp2 sound. ... (Ubuntu)
Re: 4.7 GB Gutsy Gibbon DVD Image wont fit on my 4.4 GB DVD Rom ... The point is that you get 4.9 GB of data whereas the DVD will ... this is a 4.9 GB iso file.... I fired up Roxio Creator 8.2 XE and put a disk in the MegaSTOR. ... Should I just download the CD images and ... (comp.os.linux.misc)
Re: 4.7 GB Gutsy Gibbon DVD Image wont fit on my 4.4 GB DVD Rom ... I have a Mad Dog MetaSTOR DVD burner,... I loaded my downloaded iso file into an emulated drive using Roxio's ...burn those onto my DVDs? ... would hide the file structure and any bootability features.... (comp.os.linux.misc)
Help needed to burn ISO CD ... I have files on my Leopard system that are ISO files, and I need to put them on a CD so they can be used by an installer program. ... Sun_x86_CD_V1.iso (contains all of the files for the first of the installation CDs) ... I can't read the CDs I created from the ISO files, so used the iso disk image for the first input file. ... I finally did get the virtual machine created, but only after downloading the DVD iso and installing from the disk image. ... (comp.sys.mac.apps)
