So I'm an idiot, and I couldn't figure out how to label, except

Is there a right way out of this mess?
1. build a kernel without "makeoptions DEBUG=-g"
2. rm /boot/kernel/*.symbols before make installkernel
3. Read the entry 20060118 of /usr/src/UPDATING
