    The initial commit was broken causing routes to be deleted
    incorrectly. Dont know about 4.8R-P8 but a fix was committed to
    RELENG_4. Make sure you have

    smtp3# ident /usr/src/sys/netinet/if_ether.c
    /usr/src/sys/netinet/if_ether.c:
