    I already have done that. I'm using RELENG_5 "5.3-STABLE FreeBSD
    5.3-STABLE #0: Tue Dec 28 17:56:04 CET 2004"

    Setting hw.physmem=3G at boot time has also made the system stable,
    but I want to use all of the memory.
