    Hello -stable:

How can I determine a filesystem's type in FreeBSD?
More specifically, how can I determine whether a filesystem is UFS1
or UFS2 (assuming, of course, that UFS2 is supported by the OS)?
    FAQ/doc/RTFM pointers are welcome. :)

    Thanks,

    -kc
