I'd like to know, is it possible to use FreeBSD on on Intel DG9655SS
motherboard with PATA devices. It has 1 PATA and 2 SATA ports,
but the 6-stable kernel doesn't see any devices on PATA. It
doesn't see neither my disk, nor my DVD-writer. I tried with normal
mode, with legacy mode, doesn't matter. The kernel boots, and after it
don't now any disks.
Is that controller works in Current? Will it work in 6-stable in the
near future?

It is supported in -current, backport planned but no time currently. You
could grap /sys/dev/ata/* from -current and use that in 6-stable, there
might be a few nits with infrastructure diffs but should be minimal IIRC.

As mentioned before, if it still reverts back to booting to the original device, you will have to remove it's Active bit before connecting it once the new device is booting as the boot device. ... Remove the PATA and connect the SATA. ... Connect the PATA and boot to disk maintanence w/BING boot disk.... I'm not sure if this would help or have any ramifications, yet another thing to try would be booting to the Recovery Console and running fixmbr and/or fixboot. ... I tried the recommended switches -fni (disables direct IDE access support for IDE hard disk operations - same as the -noide switch), -fns (disables direct ASPI/SCSI access support for SCSI hard ... This is actually the laptop modular bay where I can insert the DVD/2nd hard drive/2nd battery. ... of a D800 (where the primary disk is PATA and not SATA as in the M70) ... is your PATA disk attached to the secondary IDE channel?...
