Adesso AKB-430UG keyboard on 7.0

I'm using an AKB-430UG USB keyboard ("Win-Touch Pro") on FreeBSD 7.0-release-p1, or trying to. The keyboard works fine in Windows, but with FreeBSD I get the same sort of problems people have described previous with the Genius SlimStar Pro: the keys behave as if CTRL is always pressed.
I'd hate to have to switch to a different keyboard, because it took me years to find a good alternative to my old Cirque Input Center keyboard/glidepoint combo.
