NO_BIND= true # do not build BIND
into /etc/make.conf if you do, so it doesn't get clobbered?
Or, for V7, add :
WITHOUT_BIND=1
to /etc/src.conf.
And this assumes that you will be re-building the system before the base
system is patched. Note that this will also cause mergemaster to ask
about deleting /etc/rc.d/named. Just say 'no'!
