    Hi,

    I am trying to install a software using swinstall but it doesnt allow me to select the source and gives the following error

    A Remote Procedure Call to a daemon has failed. Could not start a
    management session for "hostname:". Make sure the host is accessible
    from the network, and that its daemon, swagentd, is running.

    Now when I am trying to run the swagentd it gives me following error,

    ERROR: swagentd exiting due to initialization error in background
             process. Check the logfile "/var/adm/sw/swagentd.log" for
             more information.
    ERROR: Unable to restart swagentd after initializing networking.

    If I check the /var/adm/sw/swagentd.log then it shows me following error,

    ======= 04/16/03 18:01:37 IST BEGIN swagentd (pid = 5157).

    ERROR: Cannot allocate memory. Either there is no memory available
             or the memory managed by malloc has been corrupted. Cannot
             get host attributes. Internal data structures are
             inconsistent due to this error, and the daemon must terminate
             to avoid corrupting permanent (on disk) data structures.

    Any hints on how to fix it.

    Thanks
    Deepak
