    I've gotten several responses--thank you very much to all who did. The
    bottom line is that memory really *is* simply plug-n-play. I just need to
    remember to increase swap, once the new memory is installed. Some things
    are surprisingly easy in systems administration after all. :)

    What steps must we follow to install and configure RAM in an N4000 running
    HP-UX 11.0? I presume it isn't as simple as plug-n-play, is it? I don't
    need steps on installing the hardware--I just need to know any software
    configuration steps. I've looked on docs.hp.com, but I don't see anything
    directly relating to N4000 RAM installation.
