[HPADM] SUMMARY: How to tell if a binary is 32 bit or 64 bit?

Ok, I answered my own question:

cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
$ORACLE_HOME/bin > file oracle

If the output say 64-bit explicitly then it is 64 otherwise it is 32-bit.

Hello Admins,

It seems to me, that there is a command that can be run on a binary to see
if it is 32-bit or 64-bit, I just can not remember the command....if it does
in fact exist. If anyone can get me straight on this, I would greatly
appreciate it.
