Hi , we are having a strange problem with ftp on one of our 10.20 usix
    systems.

when ftping to the unix box , we are able to login and transfer files
    ok. but
if the user tries to see what directory they are in they will get an
    error ONLY
if they are in the /home directory.? every other directory it works...?
a copy of the error is below , I do not know where to start looking on
    how to
resolve this.. I change the opermissions on /home to 777 same thing
    happens...
the only user it works for is 'root'.
