[HPADM] Slightly OT: Determining where a particular bit of Hp kit was ori ginally manfactured

    Hello admins,

I've marked this as slightly off topic but it is related to equipment that
HP-UX runs on so here goes...

When you export computer equipment into the USA you need to complete a
special form called the "FCC form 740". There are many examples and
templates of this form to be found on the web. Here is one picked at
    random:

      https://iregister.datahiveonline.com/svs-aavs/FCC_Example.pdf

One part of the form requires the manufacturer's name and address. The
address needs to be the address where the equipment was actually made. Just
specifying the company head office address is (I think) incorrect.

For HP equipment the manufacturer is, obviously, Hewlett Packard but how do
I determine the address of the manfacturing facility for any given bit of HP
kit? For example where are A5500A (N-Class 440 MHz PA8500 CPU 1.5MB cache)
    made?

The reason I ask is that if a FCC form 740 is incorrect then the shipment
can get held up in US customs and trying to get it shifted is time consuming
to say the least. With recent world events US customs are (quite sensibly)
being extra vigilent. When I ship items I just want to get it right to make
    my job (and their's) easier.

    Regards,

    Andy Cranston.
