    Subject: RE: [HPADM] Information

The V2600 is a very different architecture from all other HP 9000 computers
    as it
was developed by the Convex company which HP acquired several years ago.
The console is actually a 700-series workstation but there are plenty of
    docs
on docs.hp.com concerning the V-class console (none of which will be needed
if the console is working OK). It runs HP-UX 11 and higher and is a 64bit
    system
like all HP 9000's produced in the last 2 years.

So unless you are going to try to repair it yourself (definitely not
    recommended),
the only classes you need would be HP-UX sysadmin and related tasks like
    shell scripting.
