[HPADM] remote printer queue not working...

    Hello Admins:

    I have a problem getting a remote print queue to work
    both systems are at HP-UX 11.0

    I have a printer setup and named lst16 on a system
    in Canada, and I have a local system here that I have
    defined and setup a remote queue xxxlst16
    the remote queue was setup using SAM.

    I have tested the lst16 printer in Canada on the system in
    Canada and all works OK when a print job is queued up there.

    The remote printer queue is enabled and ready here, but when I queue
    up a job to be sent to the remote printer I get the error

    Warning: xxxlst16 is down

    and the print job just sets there in the queue, of course when
    I try to re-enable the printer it then almost immediately goes
    down again.

    I have been all through the archives and have not found anything
    specific to this.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
