Hello Admins,
I have a question in regards core.2.x.gz files.
I have a directory /var/adm/crash/core.2 which contains 3 core.gz files
( core.2.1.gz; core.2.2.gz;core.2.3.gz) an INDEX file and a copy of the
kernel ( vmunix.gz) these files are pretty old from 1996 and I was
wondering if these files are a result of a crash and if can delete them
without causing any harm to the system.
Could anyone let me know if it's safe to remove them since they are
taking to much space.
Thank you very much for your help.
Regards,
Mario Mira
